PSUPedia server migration
Welcome to the new PSUPedia server! In early February, we underwent another server migration to transfer from a temporary host to what will now be our permanent home. Thanks to essen's hard work, the migration was a huge success! Unfortunately, with our new server comes new costs. Despite original estimates, upkeep of the new server totals in at approximately $50 USD per month. Years ago, we decided to never allow advertising on the site, so in late 2009, we began accepting donations to assist with offsetting the cost of our move. Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we have collected enough funds to cover the first month in full as well as approximately half of the next month. Of course, to help keep the PSUPedia and its sister sites (the Zeropedia and PSPedia2) running, we will continue to accept donations. If you are able to assist in any way, no matter how big or small, we and the rest of the Phantasy Star community would be tremendously appreciative!
PC/PS2 servers closing March 31
Yes, you read that right. An official announcement has been made stating that the local PC/PS2 game servers will be closing on March 31, 2010. January 29's update will be the final update for PC/PS2 players, as well as mark the cut-off point for the purchase of new subscriptions. However, anyone who has an active subscription now or had one in the past will be able to log in and play for free for the final two months. The Xbox 360 servers will remain unaffected by this change. Please read the official announcement for full details.
A note to contributors
If you are new to editing or contributing to a wiki, please read the MediaWiki editing guide for information that will help you get started. Also, in order to keep a uniform appearance to the site, the PSUPedia manual of style has been established. Please reference it for fine details on various aspects of style and appearance around the site. Furthermore, when editing articles, make use of the preview button before saving your work. Doing this will keep the recent changes log from being flooded with numerous tiny edits, thus making it easier to find new articles and additions.
