Caves flowing with lava and filled with vicious creatures have been spotted at random locations across Neudaiz since the discovery of Rykros. These same caves also appear in the virtual reality battle simulator Maximum Attack.
In Phantasy Star Online, the Caves were a natural area beneath the central dome inhabited by creatures that had been mutated by one of Osto Hyle's mutant creations - the PSO incarnation of De Rol Le.
