This is a risky process, however, and there is a success rate, dependant on the Grinder you are using as well as the current grind of the Weapon (the higher you grind a Weapon, the more difficult it becomes to grind it). If you succeed, your weapon will become much more powerful. If you fail, the weapon will break and disappear, so be careful when grinding.

Grinding is the process of strengthening Weapons, increasing the ATP/TAP and PP of the weapon, unlike PSO where only ATP was increased. All weapons can be grinded up to a maximum of +10, and start at 0.

How to Grind

In order to grind, you must first have Grinders with which to Grind the weapon. The Grinder must correspond to the Weapon Rank of the Weapon you wish to grind (e.g. you must have a Grinder/C type item in order to grind a C-Rank Weapon). Different Grinders of the same Rank may be of different quality, thus affecting the success rate of the Grinding. If you have the Grinders, you must go to the Grinding Shop of the manufacturer of the weapon you wish to grind.

Once there, you can grind your Weapon.
