Partner characters
This article describes Partner Characters as known in Network Mode. For information more specific to Story and Extra Modes, see Partner Characters (Offline).
Description
Partner Characters are non-player characters with Partner Cards. Partner Characters can join special missions and engage in combat. Some Partner Characters can give Partner Cards, allowing them to be invited to Free Missions and Co-op Missions.
Abilities
Only the leader can invite a Partner Character into a team. A maximum of two Partner Characters can be invited. Partner Machineries are Partner Characters. Partner Characters will leave a team when leadership is changed. Combat is based on the Partner Character's Combat Behavior.
When not engaged in combat, Partner Characters will follow the leader. Partner Characters can not enter lobbies.
A Partner Character's level is based on the leader's level. Level caps do not apply to Partner Characters.
Incapacitated Partner Characters will fully revive themselves after ? seconds. Most Partner Characters are equipped with a TECHNIC weapon linked with Resta.
Player Characters can change equipment at levels 25, 50 and 100. Equipment requirements do not apply to Partner Characters.
Photon Art caps do not apply to Partner Characters. Photon Point costs do not apply to Partner Characters.
Partner Characters otherwise have the same capabilities as Player Characters.
A Partner Character has gender, race, type, weapons, photon arts, line shields, units, Partner Card, stats, voice, Chat Macros, etc.
