AoI S-Rank Kubaras, etc.

  • I think it is safe to assume that all the new AoI S-Ranks will also have Kubara versions. We already know Dolly and Gekitsunata do, so why not the others? Unless anyone objects, I think I will soon add "-ic" versions of all the new ones. Comments? --Qwerty 01:25, 29 September 2007 (BST)
  • I agree that it's safe to assume that any standard GRM/Yohmei/Tenora S-Rank will have a Kubara copy at this point, so I have no problems. - Mewn 09:32, 29 September 2007 (BST)
  • So, I went ahead and added some things in here, mostly Kubaras as noted above. Just a few notes/requests: I know I've seen a Yohmei 10 star Axe. Anyone know the name? I've also AoI offline pictures of the 13 star GRM twin handguns and machinegun. The Twins look exactly like Guld Milla, so I am going to assume that is their name. However, I'd like someone like Espio or Mewn or anyone who understands Japanese to correct me on that and the Machinegun name if known. If anyone has any comments or whatever, leave them here please. --Qwerty 21:45, 7 October 2007 (BST)
    • I know the guns you're talking about. They are indeed called Guld Milla.  ;) - EspioKaos 01:17, 8 October 2007 (BST)
    • 10 star Yohmei axe is called オウカノウ (Okanou), 13* Machinegun is called ジェルミナスガン (Germinas Gun?). A few other 13* weapons are Spread Needle (Kubara Shotgun), Rutsurarod (Yohmei Rod), Diga Do Ragan (GRM Twin Sabers) and Granahodora (Yohmei Wand). I'm working on getting the data, might be a while though. - Mewn 14:20, 8 October 2007 (BST)
      • Thanks for that. Updated. Anywho, there wouldn't happen to be any pictures of these, would there? All I've seen are the Guld Milla and the Germinas Gun. --Qwerty 19:42, 8 October 2007 (BST)
    • 'scuse me, but I'm pretty sure that the Rutsurarod is Kubara. I can provide a SS of the weapon stats and maker (offline) if needed, although I can't provide the weapon itself since I don't actually have the thing. Anyways, there are a lot of AotI Sranks that I notice aren't up. Is this because it's work in-progress? If not, I could provide a list and pictures of all Sranks that are available in shops offline. However, I wouldn't really be able to add the data to the tables, as I'm rather clueless about how to make it all pretty-like >.> Anyways, please let me know if this data would be of any use. -Hiro 14:49, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
      • Yes, please do tell us whatever you happen to know. If you're confused by the HUEG table, just post the info and I (or someone else) will work it into the table. I'm trying to keep this thing as up to date as possible. --Qwerty 18:38, 30 October 2007 (CDT) P.S. I still want to know where Poltissimo is.
        • Alright, just filling in what I've seen missing so far: This doesn't include the stuff that I have that isn't already on the list, but if there's a need for the weapon data/picture (assuming I have them) just let me know. Also, since I'm wikitarded, this looks awfully messy without pretty tab spacing.
Weapon Name - Rarity - Maker - Type - Romanization
Meran Knuckle - ?* - Kubara - Fist - Meran Knuckle (those cat things in that Neudaiz village)
Asurahiken - 12* - Yohmei - Slicer - Asurahiken
Fal Claw/Rika's Claw - 11*? - Kubara - Claw - Rika's Claw
Vishi Feara - 11* - Tenora - Whip - Vishi Feara/Vishi Feera
Vishi Diraga - 12* - Tenora - Whip - Vishi Diraga/Vishi Deiraga
Ryuusaikanou - 10* - Yohmei - Laser - Ryuusaikanou
Rutsurarodou - 13* - Kubara - Rod - Rutsurarod
Frauduke - 11* - GRM - Shadoog Frauduke/Flowduke
Erusura-ru - 12* - GRM - Shadoog Erusulal/Elslal/Elusulal
Konii - 11* - GRM - Madoog - Konii/Coney
Derupi - 12* - GRM - Madoog - Delpy/Delpi
With the exception of the Meran Knuckle, Fal Claw, and the Rutsurarod, the others are all store-buyable/synthable and I am able to take screens of them. Also, let it be known that Guld Milla is a kubara weapon, (ALL replicas/weapons from other SEGA games, namely PSO, have been kubara) it does NOT have a kubara variant and is NOT made by GRM. Same with Rutsurarod not being Yohmei. -Hiro 20:28, 30 October 2007 (CDT) P.S. No sign of poltissimo yet, but I found another weird monster not listed. SEED Adite/Ardite or something like that. Sounds related to the SEED Arguine/Argain thing, which I think is that giant infected CAST.
          • Ah, right, Mewn listed most of those here, and I just never got around to updating them. Thanks for the correction on the manufacturers though, that I did not know. I'll put these (bar Meran and Rika's, unless we have more exact info) in the table when I get the chance. --Qwerty 21:15, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
            • Random side-note: the SEED-Ardite is a SEED-infected AMF soldier found in the new Metro Linear field.  ;) - EspioKaos 23:20, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
              • No kidding :O Could you post a picture of it when that monster's page is made (whenever that is)? I hope it's not as nasty as the AMF Heavy Infantry guys in a group. Those zonde cannons actually hurt like hell (Mother Brain mish on S).

New, but unconfirmed/incomplete drop info

  • JP PSU has now got HIVE and Linear Line missions with level 100+ monsters, I'm trying to get some solid info but I haven't really got much in the way of confirmations yet. But I know the following now drop: [B] Hyper Viper, [B] Viper, [B] Crimson, [B] Gizaha-zashi, [B] Blackheart, [B] Agito Repca, [B] Gaozoran Rod. I'll add them into the main article when I can get hold of some solid info on what they drop from, though I have hunches. Mewn 00:17, 22 June 2007 (BST)

Colour-coding

  • It strikes me that the current table might be better to look at if it was colour-coded to show what is available and what isn't (rather than looking at the actual text). I'd suggest red for items unavailable even on JP, blue for items available on JP but not US, and the standard grey for items available on US. Thoughts? - Mewn 17:01, 20 July 2007 (BST)
    • Sounds like a fine idea to me. --Qwerty 17:47, 22 July 2007 (BST)
    • Didn't want to edit the actual page, since what I did looks dumb as is: http://psupedia.info/The_PSUPedia:Sandbox:S-ranks I fail with Wikis, so I can't figure out how to make it look better Saiffy 23:34, 22 July 2007 (BST)
      • I don't see any colors on that page. In other news, I just made my own attempt at the color thing here. Comments? --Qwerty 00:18, 23 July 2007 (BST)
        • The table seems a bit messed up. Maybe just my browser idk. Anyways, it looks nice than my attempt, I just don't really like the colours used :S Saiffy 00:44, 23 July 2007 (BST)
        • If by 'messed up' you mean 'missing several borders' then it's almost certainly a Firefox bug which can mess up table renders. I find clicking the article/userpage tab sometimes restores it to how it should be, but there's no real way to stop it other than to use a different browser, since it affects different users randomly.
      • As for the colours, I'd prefer the colours I suggested or something similar. I don't like dark grey when, to me, red would stand out so much better compared to the lighter grey. I'd prefer to see a darker colour than cyan too, or certainly something a bit softer. Mewn 01:20, 23 July 2007 (BST)

        • Looks great! What about changing the manufacturer names into their respective icons to match the other pages? EspioKaos 04:42, 23 July 2007 (BST)
          • Done. The colors are fine though? --Beatrixkiddo 04:59, 23 July 2007 (BST)
            • I like em n.n Saiffy 05:04, 23 July 2007 (BST)
          • DO NOT WANT. But yeah, I really, really do not like the icons instead of the text for the manufacturers. Not only do I not like how it looks, it is now making the table break on me every single time I load the page. So yeah, the colros are great, but leave the manufacturers as text. :\ --Qwerty 05:10, 23 July 2007 (BST)
          • The colours are great. As for the icons, I don't mind either way, but if it's contributing to the table breaking problem, it might be better to revert them to text. - Mewn 12:30, 23 July 2007 (BST)
          • How odd. When I looked at the updated list at home this morning, the table borders were jacked up at certain points. I'm at work now, and they look fine. Strangely enough, I'm using the same browser (Firefox ver.2.0.0.5) on both computers. It's a frustrating glitch. If others are still experiencing it, though, the text links would be better. EspioKaos 17:46, 23 July 2007 (BST)
          • Yeah, this has been raised a few times, it's a Firefox bug but it seems to be pretty random. I suspect the most we can do is alleviate it as until whatever causes this problem is fixed, it'll carry on happening. In the meantime, temporary fixes include clicking the article/userpage tab at the top of the screen (doesn't always work), trying to refresh the page (ditto), or downloading the IETab extension, as you can use it to switch a tab to IE (which doesn't seem to have this problem). Mewn 17:59, 23 July 2007 (BST)
