During the scheduled times, game masters held support shifts in the [[Recruitment missions|recruitment missions]] of the GUARDIANS Branches of each planet as well as other locations such as Gawik's Pub in Dagora City.  The in-game announcement system was used to let players know which universe, lobby and party name (if using a recruitment mission for the meeting) the GMs could be found in when a shift began.  In cases when there were no support issues, game masters patrolled the lobbies to chat with players and even joined Guardians in missions.

GM events are social events organized by the official game masters. These events allow the community to meet with some of the game's staff giving players the opportunity to discuss any number of topics with them. On occasion, these gatherings are used to relay information to the players on upcoming events and content updates. Also, game masters have been known to pass out various gifts to select participants. While there are many of these kinds of smaller events, most have only been held once. For frequent GM events, please see the following articles.

Sonic's 19th Birthday Event

June 23, 2010
Sonic and Tails will be visiting Gurhal once again to celebrate the blue blur's 19th birthday! They won't be arriving together, however, so it's up to the GUARDIANS to locate and reunite the duo. Once reunited, take the pair on a tour of Gurhal to show them what has changed over the past year. Enjoy a few missions together or even challenge them to an airboard race!

Sonic and Tails will be appearing in different lobbies across Gurhal at the following times on June 23, 2010. Using the banners as clues to their whereabouts, locate and reunite Sonic and Tails to kick off the birthday celebration!

  • 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. PDT
  • 12:00p.m. - 1:00p.m. PDT
  • 2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. PDT
  • 4:30p.m. - 5:30p.m. PDT
  • 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. PDT

To show his appreciation to everyone for the birthday wishes, Sonic will be granting the following two bonuses to all players for a three week period starting July 16, 2010.

Firebreak Assault

Hanami Harvest

April 23, 2007
Game masters Sananda and Seraphim played photographers for the day as they went in search of Guardians who wanted their picture taken under the beautiful cherry trees at Clyez and Ohtoku Cities. Hundreds of photos were taken and the best were added to an event article at the official website. You can view the photo galleries at the following links.

Spring Fling

April 11, 2007
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Guardians were asked to dress in their best spring-colored clothing on this day. Those dressed in green, blue, yellow, white and/or pink clothes who were spotted by a GM were given an Easter Egg room decoration.

St. Patrick's Day

March 17, 2007
It was suggested to Guardians that on this day they dress in green to not only avoid being pinched, but also to possibly have a little good fortune bestowed upon them. Throughout the day, GMs scouted out green-garbed Guardians to give them gifts of Rappy Feathers and on the rare occasion Love Letters.

Valentine's Day Photo Event

February 14, 2007
Game masters Dosun and Lyra roamed the floors of Clyez City on Valentine's Day in search of Guardians who wanted their photograph taken next to the lobby decorations. Unlike other GM events, this was purely social as no in-game rewards were given to participants. However, many of the photographs that were taken were added to a special event article at the official website. These can be viewed at the following links.
