Male Beast

Beasts are one of the four playable races available in Phantasy Star Universe. A genetically engineered race, they exhibit high physical strength and endurance; meaning they are suited for physical labor. Their weaknesses are their low mental abilities and accuracy.

Visuals

Female Beast in nanoblast form

Visually, Beasts appear similar to Humans and Newmans. Their main distinction is their faces, which appear slightly similar to that of an animal; unsurprising given their animalistic nature. Beasts have short noses with round ends, slight harelips, and animal ears, which come in four styles. These styles range from slightly furry to full blown cat ears, which follow the color of their hair.

Racial Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

• Able to use Nanoblasts. These are transformations that allow them to transform for some time, increasting their statistics.
• Are adept at being Hunters
• Have strong offensive and defensive stats
• Can use Nanoblasts

Weaknesses

• Racially suffer from bad ATA

• TAP: C (Although better than Casts)

Initial Class and Equipment

All Beasts start out as Hunters.

Leogini Santosa Berafort, Tonnio Rhima, Liina Sukaya, Do Vol and Alfort Tylor are all Beasts.
