(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Hey! You're a Guardian, right? That's so cool!
• Ethan: Thanks, but you shouldn't talk to random strangers like that!
• Kumil: Well then, let's become friends! I'm Kumil Godes.
• Ethan: Oh well... I'm Ethan Waber. Nice to meet you, Kumil! I'll bet your father is in the GUARDIANS, too, isn't he?
• Kumil: How did you know that?
• Ethan: Because you aren't afraid of me!
• Kumil: Yeah, but Guardians are so easygoing.
• Ethan: Oh, I guess we are.

(Again)

• Kumil: My dad's pretty cool, too!
• Ethan: Really? Maybe I'll meet him someday.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hell, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hello there! Are you a new recruit?
• Ethan: I'm Ethan Waber, from the Mobile Defense Force. Nice to meet you!
• Mr. Godes: I'm Fisul Godes, with the Resident Security Department. It's a pleasure to meet you, too!
• Ethan: Thank you, sir!

(Again)

• Ethan: Mr. Godes, have you been with the GUARDIANS for a long time?
• Mr. Godes: I've been with them for some twenty years now... So yes! I stay mostly indoors these days... but in my younger years they flew me all over the solar system! If you ever run into any problems, let me know!
• Ethan: Thank you!

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: Guardians shouldn't stand around talking too long!

Chapter 3

(Kumil Godes)

• Ethan: Hi, Kumil. Your dad's name is Fisul, isn't it?
• Kumil: You know my dad?
• Ethan: Yeah, we've met.
• Kumil: You should make friends with my dad!

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, is that you, Waber? You're the son of that Olson Waber, aren't you?
• Ethan: You knew my father?
• Mr. Godes: I didn't know him personally, but I did know of him. He was well-respected in his day.
• Ethan: Right.

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: By the way, you know my daughter Kumil, correct?
• Ethan: Oh, yeah!
• Mr. Godes: It would appear she is quite fond of you.
• Ethan: Oh. Uh... That's interesting!

Chapter 4

(Kumil Godes)

• Ethan: Hi, Kumil!
• Kumil: Hi, Ethan! Are you working again today?
• Ethan: Yup.
• Kumil: Will you be taking a shuttle?
• Ethan: Yeah.
• Kumil: I want to ride on a shuttle too.

(Again)

• Ethan: What's wrong, Kumil?
• Kumil: If you join the GUARDIANS, you get to ride on shuttles all the time, don't you?
• Ethan: Yeah, I guess so.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber. Since you're in the Mobile Defense Force, are you acquainted with Leo Berafort?
• Ethan: Sure, I know Leo!
• Mr. Godes: I thought you might. What a small world!

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: Next time you see Leo, tell him I said hello!
• Ethan: Will do!

Chapter 5

(Kumil Godes)

• Ethan: Hi, Kumil.
• Kumil: Oh, Ethan! hey! I want to ride on a shuttle, too! Take me with you on your mission!
• Ethan: I can't do that! You're too young to go on missions!
• Kumil: Hmph! My dad says the same thing.

(Again)

• Ethan: What's wrong, Kumil?
• Kumil: I want to ride on a shuttle.
• Ethan: Try asking your father.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Fisul: Hey, Waber!
• Ethan: Mr. Godes, do you know Headmaster Nav from the training school?
• Fisul: Hoho! You must be in the middle of some really harsh training, eh?
• Ethan: Yeah...

(Again)

• Fisul: Tell him to watch out for that ICS for me!
• Ethan: Even if I tell him, I doubt he'll remember to...

(Kumil Godes)

• Ethan: Hi, Kumil.
• Kumil: Oh, Ethan! I want to ride on a shuttle, too! Take me along! I won't tell my dad!
• Ethan: Don't be silly.

(Again)

• Ethan: (When Lumia was younger, she used to pester me just like this...)
• Kumil: What's up, Ethan? Are you gonna take me on a shuttle ride?
• Ethan: No, I really can't...

(Fisul Godes is not present in this chapter)

(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Oh, Ethan! What's wrong? You look mad.
• Ethan: No, it's nothing...

(Again)

• Kumil: You're scaring me, Ethan!
• Ethan: Sorry.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Fisul: Heya, Ethan!
• Ethan: I... can't stop to chat right now. Sorry!
• Fisul: That's okay.

(Again)

• Fisul: Are you in a hurry for something?
• Ethan: Yes, I am!

Chapter 8

(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Ethan! You've got to hurry! it's the SEED!
• Ethan: I already cleaned 'em up.
• Kumil: You're kidding!?
• Ethan: I'm serious.

(Again)

• Kumil: And just when I was thinking about giving you a hand... That's not fair!
• Ethan: It's my job, you know.
• Kumil: Hmph!

(Fisul Godes) (Before meeting the President)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber! Boy, that's quite a grin you've got there. You find a nice girl or something?
• Ethan: No, that's not it... It's just that I've finally have been to all three planets!
• Mr. Godes: I see, that's good to hear!
• Ethan: I'm pretty happy about it!

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: I understand your excitement, but don't lose focus on your tasks, all right?
• Ethan: Yes sir!

(After meeting the President)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Ethan. Looks like that was some commotion!
• Ethan: Yeah, but me, Leo and everyone took care of the purification!
• Mr. Godes: Wow, you're full-fledged now!
• Ethan: Thank you!

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: Well, rest up and get prepared for your next mission.
• Ethan: I will, sir.

Chapter 9

(Kumil Godes)

• Ethan: Hi, Kumil!
• Kumil: Ethan! Hey, do you have any friends who want to join the GUARDIANS?
• Ethan: Why do you ask?
• Kumil: My dad wants help finding people to join.
• Ethan: Really?
• Kumil: But he said I couldn't...
• Ethan: of course he did!

(Again)

• Kumil: Go ask your friends, okay?
• Ethan: Sure thing.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber. There was something I wanted to discuss with you... If you know anyone who's interested in joining the GUARDIANS would you mind sending them my way?
• Ethan: Hm... I might know somebody...
• Mr. Godes: We're pretty short on people these days. Even in the Resident Security Department.
• Ethan: I'll do my best, sir.

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: If you know of anyone, let me know, okay?
• Ethan: Yes sir!

Chapter 10

(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Hey, Ethan! Does everyone in the GUARDIANS die on duty?
• Ethan: no, of course not!
• Kumil: My friend's dad, he died while he was working...
• Ethan: I see...
• Kumil: Dad's pretty upset, too.
• Ethan: Well, it happens sometimes...

(Again)

• Kumil: I want to join the GUARDIANS too but... I hate being scared!
• Ethan: Everyone hates being scared. That's why we fight.
• Kumil: I don't get it.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber! You know, it's always really good to see you.
• Ethan: ...Thank you!
• Mr. Godes: You're always so cheerful, Ethan. Keep it up.
• Ethan: Thanks. I'll try!

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: I ought to model myself after you and cheer up myself. At least, so says my daughter...
• Ethan: Kumil?

(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Hey, Ethan! When you were little, what did you want to grow up to be?
• Ethan: Hm, that's a tough question. I don't think I really know.
• Kumil: You didn't want to be a Guardian?
• Ethan: No, I used to hate the GUARDIANS.
• Kumil: How come?
• Ethan: I just thought... they were bad.
• Kumil: But that's not true, is it?
• Ethan: No, of course not.

(Again)

• Kumil: As for me, I'm thinking of being either a Guardian or a bride.
• Ethan: You can be both if you want to.

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber! You know, I've been hearing about you a lot these days...Even here, in the Resident Security Department.
• Ethan: Really? Thanks!
• Mr. Godes: You truly are your father's son...
• Ethan: Yeah, but... my father didn't exactly make it...
• Mr. Godes: My grandfather and father were Guardians, too. When I was a boy I always worried about 'em.
• Ethan: I see.

(Again)

• Ethan: I'll do my best to surpass my father's legacy.
• Mr. Godes: That's the spirit, Ethan!

(Kumil Godes)

• Kumil: Where are you going, Ethan?
• Ethan: I've got to go help my friends.
• Kumil: Sounds serious...
• Ethan: We need everyone in Gurhal to help each other.
• Kumil: Good luck!

(Again)

• Kumil: Hey, I'll help too!
• Ethan: Thanks, but that's all right. You should head home.
• Kumil: Fiiiiine!

(Fisul Godes)

• Ethan: Hello, Sir!
• Mr. Godes: Hey, Waber! I'm being sent out on a mission too, after all this time!
• Ethan: The Resident Security Department is being sent out?
• Mr. Godes: I heard they found a SEED nest, so I volunteered for the mission.
• Ethan: Oh, I see...
• Mr. Godes: Aren't you going, as well?
• Ethan: Well, maybe... but there's something I have to do first...

(Again)

• Mr. Godes: Waber! I'll see you on the battlefield!
