Is that part about it being a "shotgun" on PSO technically right? I mean, it had a Rifle animation and Rifle speed. Shouldn't it say it was a unique type of weapon, since it didn't really conform to either Rifle or Shotgun? TheRandomHunter 06:03, May 10 2008

• That's getting a little over-technical in my opinion. Besides, anyone who didn't play PSO wouldn't understand the distinction, and explaining it would be beyond the scope of this wiki. For descriptive purposes, the Spread Needle was a shotgun--an unusual one as far as animations, firing rate, and equip requirements went, but still a shotgun. - Sekani 10:56, 10 May 2008 (CDT)
• Spread Needle was neither a Shotgun nor a Rifle, it was a unique class of weapon. But I'm tempted to agree that to debate this would be over-technical, and giving it the Shotgun moniker does make it nice and simple for people who never played PSU and wouldn't necessarily know exactly what a Needle meant. It's worth pointing out that the Spread Needle description on PSO calls it 'a custom shotgun.' - Mewn 12:34, 10 May 2008 (CDT)
