• Ethan: Hey! You're in the Alliance Military, even though you're human? How did that happen?
• Madris: Don't look so surprised! I'm Madris Carn, and I used to be a Guardian myself.
• Ethan: I'm Ethan Waber.
• Madris: Nice to meet you!

(Again)

• Ethan: Why did you quit the GUARDIANS to join the Alliance Military?
• Madris: I was just looking for a better opportunity. My love for the Gurhal System has never faltered.
• Ethan: Does the Alliance Military treat you well?
• Madris: Well, that depends...

(Again)

• Madris: You're here for a mission aren't you? You'd better not waste any time!

Chapter 3

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey! Are you here for another mission? Or are you here to join the Alliance Military?
• Ethan: Nah, I'm a Guardian through and through!
• Madris: Now that's devotion!

(Again)

• Madris: There are rumors flying around about some Guardians hanging around Raffon Meadow...You'd better be careful not to upset the Alliance Military!

Chapter 4

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey! It looks like they're keeping you pretty busy, eh?
• Ethan: We could sure use your help back in the GUARDIANS.
• Madris: Well, maybe someday we'll end up as partners!

(Again)

• Ethan: Are you happy being in the Alliance Military?
• Madris: It's not so bad!

Chapter 5

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris.
• Madris: Hey! What's up?
• Ethan: Not a lot...
• Madris: Well, you'd better look busy, or else the Alliance Military will give you a hard time!
• Ethan: I'll be careful.

(Again)

• Ethan: Hey, can I get a tour of the Alliance Military grounds?
• Madris: Sorry, that's not possible.

Chapter 6

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey! Are you here on another mission?
• Ethan: Nope.
• Madris: Do you GUARDIANS have a lot of free time these days? In my time, we didn't have the time to go bouncing from planet to planet.
• Ethan: Well, I'm trying to expand my knowledge...
• Madris: I guess that's not so bad.

(Again)

• Ethan: So I really can't tour the Alliance Military grounds?
• Madris: Nope, sorry!

Chapter 7

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey there! Are you here on another mission?
• Ethan: Not exactly. A Guardian friend of mine has disappeared.
• Madris: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that!
• Ethan: She's a young newman, and...
• Madris: I'll help you look for her!
• Ethan: No... that's all right...
• Madris: Hey! What gives?

(Again)

• Ethan: Sorry, I'm in a hurry...

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey you! You here again?
• Ethan: We ought to work together sometime!
• Madris: Don't be silly... I’m working now!
• Ethan: I see... Sorry.

(Again)

• Ethan: Madris, what kind of work do you do?
• Madris: Well, all kinds of things...

Chapter 9

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey! It's Ethan!
• Ethan: Madris, where does the Alliance Military send you?
• Madris: I'm mostly attached to Headquarters.
• Ethan: You plan operations?
• Madris: No, I mostly do communications office work.
• Ethan: You never see combat? Oh...

(Again)

• Ethan: Madris, about your job...
• Madris: I don't mean to be vague, there's just a lot to it.

Chapter 10

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey, Ethan.
• Ethan: What's the matter?
• Madris: There's a lot of tension in the Alliance Military right now. It's especially hard for me since I came from the GUARDIANS. My kind isn't really welcome here.
• Ethan: Well then... maybe you should think about coming back to the GUARDIANS?
• Madris: I came this far to learn high-level combat from the Alliance Military...

(Again)

• Ethan: But if you're stuck doing office work, how will that help you learn high-level combat? You should come back and fight alongside me!
• Madris: I'll think about it.

Chapter 11

(Madris Carn)

• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: Hey, Ethan... I'm getting tired of all this paperwork. I'm jealous of you guys... I want to fight!
• Ethan: Well come back to the GUARDIANS then!
• Madris: Is that my only option? I wonder...

(Again)

• Madris: The Alliance Military won't even make me a backup soldier since I'm not a CAST.
• Ethan: The CAST supremacy is everywhere, isn't it?

Chapter 12

(Madris Carn)

• Madris: Is that you, Ethan?
• Ethan: Hi Madris!
• Madris: This is no time for loafing around! Are you gonna sit back and let the Alliance Military run this joint attack?
• Ethan: No way!
• Madris: I'll head back first, then.
• Ethan: Head back?
• Madris: Yeah, I've decided to rejoin the GUARDIANS!
• Ethan: Wow!

(Again)

• Madris: I look forward to seeing what you're made of, Ethan Waber!
• Ethan: I'm made of a lot!
