'Those that can, teach.'

Although the PSUPedia is, first and foremost, a wiki based on objective facts and knowledge about the game, we increasingly feel the need to expand outwards. In doing so, we have created the GUARDIANS Training School, a project to get users to contribute guides to enhance the PSUPedia, instead of just editing factual articles.

What is a guide?

Well, that should be common sense. But as a general rule of thumb...

  • Normal articles answer What, Where, Who, and When questions: What is a Fortegunner? Where is the HIVE? What is a Bullet PA?
  • Guides answer How questions: How do I play a Fortegunner effectively? How do I clear HIVE missions? How do I level Bullets quickly?

This is, of course, an over-simplification, as often these two overlap. Thus, we leave it largely to common sense. Still, the major difference is that guides can contain subjective information, personal experiences, and are intended to help players playing the game to be better, as opposed to giving them purely factual information.

Like with the rest of the PSUPedia, common sense applies. Do not write guides to defame, or flame any other player, play style etc. Do not steal guides from other sites or people, unless you have express permission to do so. And if writing guides, make them worthwhile, nobody wants to read a guide to levelling Bullets that says 'shoot stuff lol.'

As with any other article, people can edit any guide you submit. Be aware of this, although it is good wiki etiquette to leave a message on the talk page before making any changes (or after, if you feel the change is particularly urgent), explaining the need to change the article.

You are allowed to credit yourself and others in the article on a guide, and they are not as stylistically strict as other articles. Despite this, it is best if you leave the credits at the very bottom of the article, preferably under their own heading.

As a final note, please use the Guide template and place it at the top of the page if writing a guide. You can do this by typing {{Guide}}. It should appear as below:

ドーホホッ! This article is a guide and may contain opinions or other subjective information. The PSUPedia is not responsible for any inaccuracies or mistakes.

For a complete list of guides please see the Guides category, but feel free to leave a message on this article's talk page if you have recently finished a guide and wish to show it off. Non-automated list (bye 'orphaned' status):
