On Rare Spawns

  • First of all, who changed the headers back to "initial spawn"? In the case of this mission especially, it's a bad move.
  • This mission shares many of the same blocks between variations. Here's the Google translations of each from the JP wiki:
Pattern A B1: down the stairs to the left of the fence
B2: the front door lock
B3: right in front of the room oblong
Pattern B B1: down the stairs to the left of the fence
B2: the front door lock
B3: the right to lock the door
Pattern C B1: down the stairs in front of the stairs
B2: right in front of the room oblong
B3: the right to lock the door
  • The "Go Bajilla x3+2 + Distova x3 → Go Bajilla x3 → Go Bajilla x3 + Distova x2" spawn listed for many B1 starts (Patterns A and B) is not just the first room. Each → means a move to the next room. This seems a lot of clutter just to say that B-1 is not rare as of the third room.
  • I'm not sure I believe the block 4 (-3 and -X) initial spawn in the slightest. 4+3+3 Distova seems completely wrong. More like 6-1 from what I can see.

  • Oh yeah: One of the Pattern A spawns - does it matter which - has "Distova x3 → Shagreece x1" as the third spawn of B1 (after the typical Go Bajilla x3+2 + Distova x3 and Go Bajilla x3 spawns of the first two rooms). - Miraglyth 01:20, 15 December 2007 (CST)
  • Wait, is there a standard on capitalisation for compass directions and the words "pattern" and "block"? Not really opposing this, but somewhat confused. - Miraglyth 17:48, 15 December 2007 (CST)
    • I had to double check the compass directions thing to verify, but according to this, they are only capitalized when used in proper place names, just as North Dakota. On pattern and block, they aren't really proper nouns to begin with (and in the case of block, not even the game considers them proper when referenced in story mission dialog). I guess it's just a matter of preference, but personally, I don't see any reason for them to be capitalized. Which reminds me... there's a recent article I'd like to fix that uses a lot of unnecessary capitalization on things like character and partner. I'll track it down later. For now, I'm going to play some PSU since I haven't really gotten to sit down and play since the update. XD - EspioKaos 18:34, 15 December 2007 (CST)
