Template talk:Rapid edit warning

Part of the problem is that clicking the "edit" link that appears under the header for the template's warning, sends you to edit the template, not to edit the subsection of the talk page which it creates. Is there a way to make the template into something that gets immediately parsed and written to the page as-is, much like how signatures work? --beatrixkiddo 13:55, 18 February 2009 (CST)

• Ah, that makes sense. I didn't even think about that. >_< I don't know how much of a solution it would be, but there's always the option of adding __NOEDITSECTION__ to the template so that you have to use the page's edit button. However, the downside of this is that it'll make every other section on the user's talk page non-editable. - EspioKaos 15:01, 18 February 2009 (CST)
