Very nice! I'm more partial to the top table as well. Now for a few notes:
- The prices won't really need the icons. Meseta values are pretty much assumed across the site whenever a number is placed in a "price" or "fee" column. In the cases of items that are traded for other currency, we'd use PAFs for PA Fragments or VCs for Vol Coins.
- As you stated, no need for the Japanese names in these charts.
- I love the idea of having a screenshot to represent each TECHNIC. Ultimately, I'd love to have shots of each tier to represent the visual growth of a TECHNIC. This would have to be saved for individual articles, however.
- I don't really think the manufacturer (or GUARDIANS branch) icons are necessary, though I'm not certain of what could fill their spots.
Still, excellent work! - EspioKaos 08:54, 3 January 2008 (CST)
- Thanks EspioKaos! =D I have a few responses too..
- The reason I put the currency icons in there, is because we have a lot of icons for other things. It seemed odd to me that we were still using text for only a few things, such as PAF's, and not supplying an icon for meseta in particular. I mean, we use the icon instead of 'GRM' for example, so doesn't it make sense to use , and (or something better) to indicate the type of currency also?
- I like the idea of having a screenshot for each tier of a tech. Actually, this table is meant to be the 'front page' of each tech, and clicking on the tech's name would lead you to a page dedicated to that tech alone. On that page would be 4 (eventually 5) screenshots of the tech in action, as well as a more detailed set of information including the exact Tech. value for each level, the exact number of hits required to level that tech from 0%->100% for each level, etc.
- I'll probably make a few minor changes to this table tomorrow, then expand it to cover all techs of one element, so that we can start to see what it will look like on a larger scale. More feedback would be great though! As well as any suggestions for anything I've missed that should be listed. - Spirit 12:47, 3 January 2008 (CST)
