GM events are social events organized by the official game masters. These events allow the community to meet with some of the game's staff giving players the opportunity to discuss any number of topics with them. On occasion, these gatherings are used to relay information to the players on upcoming events and content updates. Also, game masters have been known to pass out various gifts to select participants. While there are many of these kinds of smaller events, most have only been held once. For frequent GM events, please see the following articles.

Hal's Radio Broadcast
October 17, 2008
Speak your mind to the entire Gurhal System with Hal's Radio Broadcast! Players were able submit messages that they wanted to air to their fellow Guardians until the end of Sunday, October 12, 2008. Submissions could be promotions of community-run events, player shop advertisements and even simple shout-outs to friends. Selected entries were then broadcast to the community using the in-game announcement banner on Friday, October 17. For the course of the day, three broadcasts were held. The first began at 10:00a.m. Pacific, followed up by an afternoon broadcast at 3:00p.m. Pacific and finally an evening run at 8:00p.m. Pacific.
Sonic 17th Birthday Event
June 23, 2008
All Guardians are invited to join in the celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog's 17th birthday! On June 23 between the hours of 12:00a.m. and 11:59p.m. PDT, simply log in and type Happy Birthday Sonic! as it appears here. (The phrase is case insensitive, so as long as all three words are spelled correctly and the exclamation point is included at the end, you will receive credit for participation. For example: Happy birthday Sonic!, happy birthday sonic!, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC!, etc.) You can be anywhere in Gurhal, as long as you type the phrase as stated before. For those who participate in the event, two room decorations, Amy and Knuckles, will be given out at a later date.

Hanami Harvest
April 23, 2007
Game masters Sananda and Seraphim played photographers for the day as they went in search of Guardians who wanted their picture taken under the beautiful cherry trees at Clyez and Ohtoku Cities. Hundreds of photos were taken and the best were added to an event article at the official website. You can view the photo galleries at the following links.
Spring Fling
April 11, 2007
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Guardians were asked to dress in their best spring-colored clothing on this day. Those dressed in green, blue, yellow, white and/or pink clothes who were spotted by a GM were given an Easter Egg room decoration.
St. Patrick's Day
March 17, 2007
It was suggested to Guardians that on this day they dress in green to not only avoid being pinched, but also to possibly have a little good fortune bestowed upon them. Throughout the day, GMs scouted out green-garbed Guardians to give them gifts of Rappy Feathers and on the rare occasion Love Letters.
Valentine's Day Photo Event
February 14, 2007
Game masters Dosun and Lyra roamed the floors of Clyez City on Valentine's Day in search of Guardians who wanted their photograph taken next to the lobby decorations. Unlike other GM events, this was purely social as no in-game rewards were given to participants. However, many of the photographs that were taken were added to a special event article at the official website. These can be viewed at the following links.
