==Photons==

Photons are used in the synthesis of weapons and line shields.  In striking weapons and line shields they decide the elemental attribute of the finished product.  When it is possible to use more than one type of photon, a [[Synthesis boards|synthesis board]] will display [[??? photon]] as a needed ingredient.  Although they do not affect the attribute of ranged and TECHNIC weapons, they are still required in the synthesis process.
