Base stats

The following chart displays the base stats for all enemies in varying level increments. This chart can be used in conjunction with the stat charts in individual enemy articles to calculate the exact amount of any listed stat for an enemy at a particular level.

Variations

Variations are similar to Status Effects. They are static rather than temporary and benefit one or many enemies in a group. Note that monsters with these variations often have some sort of visual sign as well. For example, an enemy with the Shield may actually be carrying a shield-like item.

Icon Name Effect
Crown.gif (Crown) Signifies enemy leader; halfguard on all damage; Vanda, Gohmon, etc. may rally around leader for support spells.
Sword.gif (Sword) Increased ATP, ATA, and TP.
Shield.gif (Shield) Increased DFP and EVP (and STA?). Bestows ranged halfguard.
Staff.gif (Staff) Increased MST.
Boot.gif (Boot) Increased EVP and movement speed. Nullifies ranged halfguard from Shield.


Variations will alter enemy experience payout. The following table identifies the multiplier that is applied to each. The final calculation displayed when an enemy is destroyed ignores the fractional portion of the value.
