* Found a [http://psu.rdy.jp/src/up2596.jpg couple] of [http://psu.rdy.jp/src/up2597.jpg images] on rdy.jp that confirm a number of techniques (see Unconfirmed Techniques above) - in particular Giresta, Ramegid, Damumegid and Nosumegid. Also of note is the new technique ''Regrants'' that *might* be a possible replacement for Grants. I can read that both Regrants and Damumegid continuously burn PP as long as you keep the button pressed down but further translations would be great. [[User:Mewn|Mewn]] 06:12, 28 August 2006 (PDT)

* Just found a [http://1st.geocities.jp/arets2000/ small site] that has a list of all the currently known techniques, and such have updated our list.  There are some very interesting additions including new thunder, earth, light and dark techs.  Apparently we can now summon snakes to chase down our enemies with nosudeega!  XD [[User:EspioKaos|EspioKaos]] 18:31, 1 September 2006 (PDT)

Light Healing Techniques

  • If anyone cares, my reasoning for putting Resta and Regene in the Healing category and not Light is that Resta is unlikely to be affected by Light Resistance, so Healing deserves it's own section and Light attack/status causing techs can be seperate. - Mewn
  • Tycho: I think their elements might still be quite relevant, but it's too early for me to tell yet. Since putting as many Techs of the same element on a single weapon gives them an extra bonus (expectedly at maximum for Rods with four Techs of the same element), this might affect even restorative or supportive Techniques. Anyway, thanks for putting a note over here.
  • Tycho: Due to Element Stacking on Casting Weapons, Techniques ought to be recategorized to show the elements of restorative/supportive Techniques later on. Also, the Foie~Diiga series might be recategorized so as to fit in two-dimensional tables for clarity.

Unconfirmed techniques

  • Suimasen has a number of techniques listed in the summary on their article (link in article), among the techs we have not heard of listed are Damubarta, Damudeega, Nosudeega, Giresta, Ramegid, Damumegid, and Nosumegid. I've decided against adding these for now, since I have no way to confirm them, but as soon as I can get some confirmation of them I'll add them to the list. Also of note is that now, on the suimasen article, the Gravto techs and Grants now have a line through them. Mewn 03:28, 25 August 2006 (PDT)

Techniques Scan from JP Manual

  • PSU Picture Uploader
This picture shows the techniques page from the JP manual. Strangely enough, grants is not used to represent the light tech category; resta is used in its place. Megid is confirmed as the dark technique, however. It's description (which I've added to our table) identifies it as a dark-based tech, but the actual attack is said to be a sphere of gravity. • Interesting indeed, thanks for adding it to the table. I wonder though, does the attack do any damage, with the chance of incapitation being a bonus side-effect (much like Foie burning an enemy, or Barta freezing an enemy) or is the attack just a 'Curse of Death' as it was in PSO. Also, maybe the fact that Resta is used in place of Grants in the manual explains why suimasen put a line through Grants in their technique summary... Mewn 08:30, 26 August 2006 (PDT)
  • No problem.  :) From some other translations I've done for this game, SonicTeam used the same term that I translated as incapacitate to mean K.O. (Taisenfunou which literally means 'not capable of fighting.') So, more than likely megid is keeping its possible instant death attribute. EspioKaos 11:45, 27 August 2006 (PDT)

New Techniques Added

  • PSU Image Uploader
This screenshot reveals two new techniques: a fire-based tech called agdeal and an ice-based one called defdeal. I get the feeling they're not attack techniques, however. You guys may recall a couple of consumable items called agtalide and defbalide. Agtalide temporarily increased your ATP like shifta, and defbalide temporarily increased your DEF like deband. Assuming the prefixes used here are meant to reprensent the same thing, perhaps these two new techs are the new names for shifta and deband? I'll wait to edit out shifta/deband until I can get 100% confirmation, though. EspioKaos 07:43, 27 August 2006 (PDT)
  • Three new images popped up on the image board showing even more new techniques. This is the stuff I've been waiting for, so I'm pumped about this right now. I just added in the new techniques that have been shown thus far, many of which are the replacements for shifta, deband, jellen and zalure. From what I can tell, the -deal suffix indicates a negative buff tech while the -al suffix indicates a buff tech. EspioKaos 10:13, 27 August 2006 (PDT)
  • Yeah, these are awesome. My guess is that Retial is the Technique equivalent of the Buff Item Retialide/Letialide (this site uses Letia though) and therefore increases TAP and MST, as the item does. On a side note, the Buff Item and the Technique should remain consistent, in my opinion, so should we use 'Ret-' or 'Let-'? Mewn 12:09, 27 August 2006 (PDT)
  • Tycho: *votes 'l'*
  • I think we should go with 're' as the prefix. It would tie in better with the light series of techniques since those all seem to have the same prefix: resta, regene, regrants. EspioKaos 10:21, 30 August 2006 (PDT)
  • Ah, very good point. I hadn't thought about that. 'Re' it is, then, unless anyone has any objections? Mewn 11:56, 30 August 2006 (PDT)
