*** I'm good with the current format, including color-coded item cells. :) One more thing, boss drops work a little differently from enemy drops, right? We might have to make a separate section just for those. - [[User:EspioKaos|EspioKaos]] 11:41, 1 November 2007 (CDT) | *** I'm good with the current format, including color-coded item cells. :) One more thing, boss drops work a little differently from enemy drops, right? + | *** Yeah, I agree, Boss drops are more complex because there are more drops than normal. I *think* it's still done by level (with some special drops), but that's kinda speculative on my part. So far though, it appears to hold out, so I've no problem using a level based format for now, once we work out how to display them. - [[User:Mewn|Mewn]] 14:45, 1 November 2007 (CDT) |

It's a start
- Opinions on this layout? In its full form, this page will have one table for each enemy, and we can change the links in this list to go directly to each table. - EspioKaos 16:00, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
- Seems fine to me. Readable and I like the layout. - Mewn 16:05, 30 October 2007 (CDT)
- Ok, so I just filled in the drops for Badira, while trying out a nice colour-coding thing for the level item drops. Thoughts on it? It might be a pain to do it for special drops though unless we give each special drop its own cell (which would mean a lot of rowspanning of the Missions column). - Mewn 07:29, 31 October 2007 (CDT)
- I'm not certain of its necessity, but the more I look at it, the more I like the color-coding. :D - EspioKaos 12:20, 31 October 2007 (CDT)
- Yeah, it's more about making the tables look a bit more attractive than a necessity. Speaking with au in IRC also yielded two further suggestions.
- Adding a Star Rarity column - not really sure if this is necessary either, but I guess it can't hurt.
- Templatizing each individual table, for example {{Badira drops}} and using the templates both on these pages and the individual monster pages - I think this is a good idea. - Mewn 13:39, 31 October 2007 (CDT)
- Don't know about the star rarity column, but I give a definite thumbs up on the template idea. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get started on the other pages for this section. - EspioKaos 13:45, 31 October 2007 (CDT)
- I was able to separate the special drops row into separate cells. See: Go Vahra (It really wasn't as much of a pain as I thought it might turn out to be.) This allows us to color-code these items. What do you guys think? - EspioKaos 13:22, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
- Seems fine to me. Would be better if the special drop cells were the same width but that might be fiddly to do. - Mewn 14:45, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
Ok, so
- I've added the ★ Star Rarity column to the Badira table and colour-coded that as well (mostly to make the tables look pretty, it looks better than drab grey for everything), and am happy with the table format. If there are no objections, I'll eventually apply that format to every table while we all put the drops/missions in. When all the tables are done I'll templatize them and if we can kickstart the monster articles again we can replace the current drop template with this one. - Mewn 05:50, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
- To be completely honest, I'm not too keen on it. The colors used for the background of the item cells looks fine, but the star column just makes it feel kind of cluttered to me. (Too much information, and all.) I don't know, it just seems... out of place. D: - EspioKaos 09:45, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
- Same, I like the color-coding but not the star rarity column. --Beatrixkiddo 10:15, 1 November 2007 (CDT)
