Giant insectoid creatures, Grass Assassins are enemies that have appeared in various Phantasy Star titles under different names (including Grass Assassin and Locusta). In PSU, they are based off their appearance in Phantasy Star Online.

Grass Assassins have similar abilities to their PSO incarnations. They can attack using their scythe-like arms, and charge at players. It's easy to spot when they will charge as they lift their arms and let out a cry. They can also spit, their saliva is capable of stunning players.
