• Mischec: Mayton Pord.
• Ethan: ...
• Mischec: Do you know him?
• Ethan: Well, I only just joined the GUARDIANS, so...
• Mischec: Really?

• Mischec: Maybe I'll introduce you to my dad one of these days!

• Ethan: Are you a newcomer, too?
• Porsh: You can tell? it's only been one week since I got my assignment!
• Ethan: I'm Ethan Waber. I just joined the GUARDIANS myself. Nice to meet you!

• Porsh: No, I just changed jobs, but I'm hardly still in training.

• Jabutz: What's wrong? First time on a PPT Shuttle?
• Ethan: Huh? What do you mean?
• Jabutz: Don't worry. I've yet to have a single accident with any of the shuttles I take care of.
• Ethan: Are you the maintenance man?
• Jabutz: Don't call me that! I'm Jabutz Secbel, the Chief Manager of Operations!

• Jabutz: Chief Manager of Operations! Get it right!

• Porsh: I was at the PPT Spaceport on Moatoob.
• Ethan: Really? A while back I rode on a PPT Shuttle for the first time, but I've never been to Moatoob.

• Ethan: I think from now on I'll be riding the PPT Shuttle a lot. See you around!

• Ethan: Heya, Porsh!
• Porsh: Oh hi, Ethan. I sure see you around a lot. Where are you always running off to?
• Ethan: To Parum. Recently all my missions have been there.
• Porsh: Wow, that sounds great. I've never been there... I'm jealous!

• Ethan: I want to go somewhere on a PPT Shuttle. Not for a mission or anything, just on my own...

• Jabutz: I'm just not in the mood to talk to any Guardians today. I got another impossible transport schedule from Headquarters.

• Ethan: Hey, Mischec! How are you doing?
• Mischec: Great! Are you working now?
• Ethan: Yeah.
• Mischec: Hey, have you been to Moatoob? There's where my dad is.
• Ethan: Really? Maybe I'll run into him someday.

• Ethan: What's wrong, Mischec?
• Mischec: If you run into my dad, would you tell him that I'm doing fine?

• Ethan: Hey, Porsh!
• Porsh: Hey, Ethan. Are you going to Parum again?
• Ethan: Nope. This time they're going to be sending me to Neudaiz.
• Porsh: Wow! That's great! GUARDIANS sure do keep busy, don't they?
• Ethan: Yeah...

• Ethan: I'm always a little nervous the first time I visit a planet...
• Porsh: Well, good luck!

• Jabutz: Oh, it's you... Ethan Waber.

• Jabutz: People are talking. Apparently you're quite the promising new recruit...

• Jabutz: Hey! Don't let a little talk go to your head! You're famous within maintenance circles now because of the big mess you left the Milate 04 in!

• Ethan: Hey Mischec, you said your father was on Moatoob, right?
• Mischec: Yeah! Are you going to Moatoob?
• Ethan: Yeah! Your father's name is Mayton, right?
• Mischec: Yes. Good luck! Don't forget to tell him hi for me.

(Again)

• Ethan: What's wrong, Mischec?
• Mischec: If you run into my dad, tell him I miss him, okay?

(Porsh Tuvol)

• Ethan: Hey, Porsh! My next mission is sending me to Moatoob...
• Porsh: Really? That's too bad...
• Ethan: Well that's a fine how-do-you-do!
• Porsh: Sorry. I was just on Moatoob for a long time. I guess I'm kind of jaded about it.
• Ethan: Yeah, I guess I can see that.

(Again)

• Porsh: There are a lot of dangerous places there, so be careful and come back in one piece!

• Ethan: Yup. I'm really a Guardian now!

• Mischec: Oh, Ethan! I was so scared...
• Ethan: C'mon Mischec, you can't be a Guardian with that attitude!

• Ethan: We've already done the purification. You can relax now.

• Mischec: Aren't you scared of the SEED?
• Ethan: Even if it's scary, we've got to take care of the SEED or the colony will be in trouble.

• Mischec: Where did that come from all of a sudden?

• Ethan: (He reminds me of myself when I was his age...)
• Mischec: What is it, Ethan?
• Ethan: No, it's nothing.
• Mischec: You're weird.

• Ethan: Hey, Porsh!
• Porsh: Hi, Ethan.
• Ethan: So about Mayton Pord...
• Porsh: You know, I really don't want to talk about Mayton Pord.
• Ethan: How come?
• Porsh: It's something... that's in the past now.

(Again)

• Ethan: C'mon Porsh. This is important! Mayton has a little boy. That kid really believes that Mayton is coming home. He's waiting for him!

• Jabutz: Oh, Ethan Waber... I got a question for you. Have you heard about a recent shuttle accident on Moatoob, where a Guardian was killed on duty?
• Ethan: ...No. Is that true?
• Jabutz: ...No, forget about it!

• Ethan: Mr. Operational Manager, about the shuttle accident...
• Jabutz: Forget I said anything! But don't mess it up! It's "Chief Manager of Operations!"

Chapter 11

(Mischec Pord)

• Ethan: Hey, Mischec. How're you doing?
• Mischec: I'm not... good.
• Ethan: What's the matter?
• Mischec: My father... he died...
• Ethan: !! Mischec...
• Mischec: Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I've got my mom, at least.
• Ethan: My dad died while he was on a GUARDIANS mission, too.
• Mischec: Really?
• Ethan: Mischec, you and I are sort of in the same boat, aren't we?
• Mischec: Yeah, I guess so.

(Again)

• Ethan: If you ever need to talk about something, please let me know. I'll be here for you.
• Mischec:: Okay, thanks.

(Porsh Tuvol)

• Ethan: Hey, Porsh... You want to tell me about it? About Mayton Pord?
• Porsh: There was... an accident. A shuttle fuel leak and an explosion...
• Ethan: He didn't die in battle?
• Porsh: Hey! Keep your voice down!

(Again)

• Ethan: Porsh, was there a cover-up about what happened with Mayton Pord?
• Porsh: I'm sorry... I can't talk about this any more.

(Jabutz Secbel)

• Ethan: Hello, Mr. Chief Manager of Operations!
• Jabutz: ...

• Ethan: That is one moody CAST!

Chapter 12

• Mischec: Hey, Ethan! Are you going off?
• Ethan: Oh hi, Mischec. Yeah...
• Mischec: Please don't go! I'd be so sad if I lost you, too.
• Ethan: Don't worry, Mischec. You won't lose me.
• Mischec: That's what my dad said...
• Ethan: ...I'm sorry.

(Again)

• Ethan: Wait for me, Mischec. I'll see you soon. I promise.
• Mischec: All right. I'll be waiting for you.

(Porsh Tuvol)

• Ethan: Hey, Porsh... Can you tell me about Mayton Pord now?
• Porsh: All right... Well, I told you the shuttle explosion was the result of a fuel leak, didn't I?
• Ethan: Yeah.
• Porsh: In the end, I heard they settled out of court under the condition that the truth be covered up.
• Ethan: I guess Mishec's mother has to be really careful about what she tells him...
• Porsh: I got fed up with all the secrecy and moved here to the colony.

(Again)

• Ethan: Thank you... for telling me.
• Porsh: So let's forget about this, okay? And please don't tell the child.
