A Save Marker.

A Save Marker is a commonplace utility beacon found in many places within Phantasy Star Universe, in Story Mode and Extra Mode only.

Its defining visuals are that it is a floating blue sphere, and it performs the simple function of saving a player's game.

Save Markers are located in lobbies (there is at least one in all planetary cities). There is also a Save Marker located in the My Room for your character, a feature which separates the My Room from that of Network Mode, which has no utility beacons. In Story Mode, you will also come accross Save Markers during the story missions, as these are used to save a player's progress during the lengthy chapter missions. They are usually seen alongside Photon Chargers, regardless of where they are found.

There are no Save Markers in Network Mode, as Network Mode is saved server-side and there is no need nor ability for the player to save. However Network Mode instead has Universe Transporters that are used by the player to warp to their room or shift between Universes.
