Mission details
- Obtaining a grade of S on this mission requires collecting all six discs. Please see Temple of Traps (guide) for details on disc locations as well as strategies for obtaining them.
- The special boxes listed in the drop chart below are located in block C of the mission. In the long hallway separated into two aisles by a barrier running down the middle, there is a laser fence blocking a set of stairs on the left-hand path. If both switches at the end of the hallway are activated simultaneously within 30 seconds of entering the area, this fence will deactivate, giving access to not only the fourth data disc, but also a set of four boxes with unique drops.
- Though not available initially, a future update will use this mission as a prerequisite for initiating a unique subplot tied to certain upcoming event missions. The following outlines the requirements for accessing this subplot.
- Clear the story mission Will of Light.
- After the (Absolute Zero) event mission (Frozen Flowers) has been released, clear Temple of Traps on any difficulty with a grade of S.
- Locate the hidden switch in the forest of (Frozen Flowers) to gain access to Denan's hidden room in block 2 of the temple. Talk to Denan and he will ask you to lend him a hand. You may either agree to help or refuse. The choice you make here will determine what happens in this subplot's continuation in the event mission (The Protectors ε).
- After the event mission (The Protectors ε) has been released, clear Temple of Traps one more time on any difficulty with a grade of S.
- Locate Denan's hidden room in VR: Stage 1 of (The Protectors ε) by activating a switch behind a screen. Mission difficulty does not matter, however you must be playing alone to gain access to the hidden room. Here, Denan will present you with a special reward. The item you receive depends on the choice you made in (Frozen Flowers).
- If you agreed to help Denan in (Frozen Flowers), you will receive a (Magana Breaker).
- If you said that you did not have time to help Denan, you will receive a Black Meteora.
