I know I look like a complete asshole for the reversions I just did, but please, I must ask that you discuss changes like this before implementing them.  I understand this is a wiki and it's subject to edits and submissions by anyone, but generally we like to discuss these kinds of changes before going through with them.  (Yes, it can take a lot more time, but the time spent on coming to an agreement is better than the time spent going back and forth over things that cannot be agreed on.  For example, when we were going around and around with how to include extra requirements to the story missions articles, we only altered one or two articles with changes until we came to an agreement.  That was perfect.  We discussed, we brainstormed and ultimately came to the design we have now.  It took some time, but in the end the time we spent with that was well worth it.)  Overall, this template is a nice idea for categorization purposes, but in the process, you did away with the necessary co-op missions category.  Though they are more or less the same as free missions, they cannot be lumped together with them because they are not the same.  Also, does it really matter that we have separate templates for each planet?  I understand that it would save three extra edits if we were to ever alter the infobox style, but it's never been a problem before, especially since the design of the mission infobox was voted on and established as a site standard last summer.  One other thing, we should avoid redirecting categories to articles.  Categories are supposed to stand on their own, acting as an index for a particular subject, not link back to something which may or may not serve the same purpose.  Anyway, I do apologize.  I hate resorting to what I did, but I want to emphasize communication.  We need to discuss changes before making them, especially when it comes to changes being made to established standards. - [[User:EspioKaos|EspioKaos]] 00:45, 20 February 2008 (CST)

I kinda had a "morning after" moment a few hours after I did it, but was too afraid to revert them all, afraid everyone would yell at me for clogging up the recent changes page...which I can now see that I did anyways.<br/><br/>I guess I just saw what you were doing with the [[Free missions]] page, and wanted to automate the populating of that list completely. All these extra manual updates being done when so much can be automated with a few templates.<br/><br/>I also didn't change the basic layout of the info box. All I did was swap out some variables and used switch statements to automatically categorize. I don't try to alter appearances, only functionality and adding automation.<br/>I don't know why I didn't stop at the [[Awoken Serpent]] article. I'm so sorry. I guess I was in need of something to distract my mind, and I used this wiki as my own distraction, and that was selfish of me. :(<br/>I'm curious though, just what ''is'' the difference between a free mission and co-op? I've heard both terms used to describe the same missions. Also, alot of people have been redirecting categories to pages. I'd thought it odd at first, but I assumed it was a set standard...<br/><br/>Again, I'm sorry, I thought I was being helpful, and just got swept away by my own need to finish a project I'd started. ** Co-op missions are basically free missions, but require 2+ people to S/clear the mission. Such as Crimson Beast and Cost of Research. Don't beat yourself up over it though, it's not that big a deal :) [[User:Saiffy|Saiffy]] 15:08, 20 February 2008 (CST)

    I guess I just saw what you were doing with the Free missions page, and wanted to automate the populating of that list completely. All these extra manual updates being done when so much can be automated with a few templates.

    I also didn't change the basic layout of the info box. All I did was swap out some variables and used switch statements to automatically categorize. I don't try to alter appearances, only functionality and adding automation.
