Intro
The following is a guide to feeding and raising a partner machine.
First, decide which one of the four types of items your pm will be synthing. The four synth stats are Striking, Ranged, Armor and TECHNIC. How you feed your PM is based on this decision. This choice can not be changed without reseting your PM. It is recommended that you choose one of these stats to raise to max at 100.
Second, decide which of the 30 final models your pm will be fighting as. How you feed your PM is not based on this decision. This choice can always be changed later. Any fourth stage PM can be changed to any other using EX Devices.
Raising a Pure PM
After choosing one of the four stats to raise, gather items from player shops and NPC shops, then feed your PM. Here are my recommended routines for each.
each stat point | Striking | Ranged | Armor | TECHNIC |
is worth about | 88 meseta | 30 meseta | 91 meseta | 84 meseta |
Pure Striking
Gathering items:
- Buy any PM Fighgrolls under 3500 meseta.
- Type "striking" into the shop search. Buy any 1★ striking item under 350 meseta. Buy any 2★ striking item under 700 meseta, any 3★ under 1050.
- Type "item" into the shop search. Buy 20 items under 6 meseta.
- Go to GRD-AS. Buy 1★ striking weapons.
Feeding:
- Feed a few healing items, but stop before technic bar fills. Feed striking weapons to lower technic again. Repeat until fed. Buy more 1★ striking weapons if needed.
Pure Ranged
Gathering items:
- During the fireworks event, go to 5th floor lobby cashier. Buy Fireworks (trap) or De Ragan's Breaths.
- Buy any PM Bullgrolls under 1200 meseta.
- Type "trap" into the shop search. Buy any trap under 60 meseta. Buy any G trap under 350 meseta. Buy any EX trap under 600 meseta.
- Go to 5th floor lobby cashier. Buy Freeze Trap EXs.
Feeding:
- Feed all to PM, buy more De Ragan's Breath or Freeze Trap EXs if needed.
Pure Armor
Gathering items:
- Buy any PM Defgrolls under 3000 meseta.
- Type "clothes" into the shop search. Buy any 2★ clothes under 546 meseta. Buy any 2★ parts under 728 meseta.
2★ | 4★ | 5★ | 6★ | 7★ | 8★ | 9★ | 10★ | 11★ | 12★ | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
clothes | 546 | 910 | 1092 | 1274 | 1456 | 1638 | 1820 | 2002 | 2184 | 2366 |
parts | 728 | 1183 | 1365 | 1638 | 1911 | 2093 | 2275 | 2730 | 3003 | 3276 |
- Because prices of the Mikumiko Sets and CAS-miko Sets have gone up, buying Granadas Arms is a better idea. They cost less and give more than the Mikumiko Sets.
- Type "set" into the shop search. Buy any 12★ Mikumiko Sets under 2366 meseta. Buy any 12★ CAS-miko Sets under 3276 meseta.
- Type "line" into the shop search. Buy any 1★ line shields under 546 meseta. Buy any 2★ line shields under 819 meseta.
- Go to G's MODE. Buy Vatavara Boots or Kouze Shoes.
Feeding:
- Feed all to PM, buy more Vatavara Boots or Kouze Shoes if needed.
Pure TECHNIC
Gathering items:
- Buy any PM Techgrolls under 3360 meseta.
- Type "technic" into the shop search. Buy any 1★ technic item under 336 meseta. Buy any 2★ technic item under 672 meseta, any 3★ under 1008.
- Type "item" into the shop search. Buy 20 items under 6 meseta.
- Go to GRD-AS. Buy Foie disks.
Feeding:
- Feed a few healing items, but stop before striking bar fills. Feed technic items to lower striking again. Repeat until fed. Buy more Foie disks if needed.
Changing PM model
PM Devices and EX Devices are used to further evolve a partner machine into various forms. If the PM model you want is in the same series as the PM you have, then use a PM Device. If the PM model you want is not in the same series as the PM you have, raise the B St., then use a EX Device.
The grade of S rank will raise the B St bar by 24%. The mission's length and difficulty do not matter - the only determining factor is the rank achieved at the end of the mission. I recommended S ranking Unsafe Passage C.
PM Device
PM Devices do not have B Stats requirements. PM devices can change models within a series, but can not change to another series. The following devices can only be used on the following models.
EX Device
EX Devices have B Stats requirements. Any EX device can used with any PM with enough B St.
Diet tables
The following is a list of noteworthy items for partner machine feeding. Some of these items can be found in player shops. Certain items are starting equipment, which can be gathered by recreating characters.
