Nanocarbons can be found on Parum in the Sleeping Warriors mission as a drop from a box, look for a room that contains five boxes grouped together.  Only one of the possible maps contains this room.  Look for the boxes that drop Nanosilica, these are the ones that have a chance of being Nanocarbons as well.  They can also be found as drops from enemies, not sure which ones, please contribute to this page.
