*Mikua: Hey, Ethan! It's been a long time!
*Ethan: Huh!? Mikua! It's been like a year, hasn't it?
*Mikua: I heard a rumor you've gotten a job. Is it true?
*Ethan: Yeah. Actually, I joined the GUARDIANS.
*Mikua: Wow, that's pretty unexpected!
*Ethan: I'm still in training, though.
(Again)
*Ethan: Don't you think there are a lot more people around here than there used to be?
*Mikua: It's probably because the colony is so safe; at least, more than anywhere else. With the SEED troubles, the number of people immigrating seems to have increased.
*Ethan: You sure seem to know a lot!
*Mikua: And you don't know enough!
*Ethan: Haven't changed a bit, have you, Mikua?
(Again)
*Mikua: Don't mind me, just get to work!


(Gapard Raz)
*Ethan: I've seen you around here a lot. What is it you're always doing?
*Gapard: Nothing, really.
*Ethan: I see. Well, my name is Ethan Waber, and I'm a Guardian, as you can see.
*Gapard: Yeah, I see that.
*Ethan: What about you?
*Gapard: I'm Gapard Raz.
*Ethan: Nice to meet you!
(Again)
*Ethan: Didn't we meet at the ceremony?
*Gapard: Did we now?
*Ethan: Yeah, I think we did. Anyway, that was a pretty big surprise, wasn't it?
*Gapard: What was?
*Ethan: The SEED, man, the SEED. Those crazy flying objects!
*Gapard: Oh. Oh yeah.
(Again)
*Gapard: What now?
*Ethan: Uh, nothing...


==Chapter 3==
(Mikua Tesran)
*Ethan: Hey Mikua, you don't look very happy. What's up?
*Mikua: The only guys who ever come talk to me are guys like you. I'm so sick of it!
*Ethan: So then, who would you want to talk to?
*Mikua: Hm... I think my type would be a quiet, older beast...
*Ethan: Geez, well excuse me for being a talkative young human!
(Again)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua!
*Mikua: Didn't you listen to what I was saying!?


(Gapard Raz)
*Ethan: Hey Gapard, what is it you do here, day after day?
*Gapard: I'm a student and I'm between studies.
*Ethan: A student? You look so much older than me, though.
*Gapard: Well, I'm 21...
*Ethan: You're only four years older than me!
*Gapard: Yeah, so what's your point?
*Ethan: I dunno. I guess I thought you were older...
(Again)
*Gapard: What now?
*Ethan: Don't you have anything better to do?
*Gapard: Mind your own business!

(Mikua Tesran)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua. How's it going?
*Mikua: Don't you have anything better to do than to hang around chit-chatting?
*Ethan: Geez...
*Mikua: I'm not sure that we have a lot in common any more, Ethan.
*Ethan: You're in a great mood...
(Again)
*Ethan: What's up, Mikua?
*Mikua: Nothing, Ethan. Nothing at all.
*Ethan: Okay...


(Gapard Raz)
*Ethan: You've got a lot of free time on your hands, don't you?
*Gapard: Will you leave me alone already?
*Ethan: Maybe you should make use of all that free time and join the GUARDIANS. It's hard work, but it's rewarding and offers a great challenge!
*Gapard: I'll think about it.
(Again)
*Gapard: What's up?
*Ethan: You should seriously consider what I said before.
*Gapard: I will.


==Chapter 5==
(Mikua Tesran)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua. How's it hanging?
*Mikua: Nothing's hanging anywhere, Ethan.
*Ethan: It's just an expression.
*Mikua: So when are you going to introduce me to someone who is more my type?
*Ethan: I... don't know.
(Again)
*Mikua: I'm not getting any younger, Ethan.
*Ethan: You're being pretty dramatic, Mikua. Aren't you only nineteen?


(Gapard Raz)
*Ethan: Hey, how about it? Have you thought about what I said before?
*Gapard: About what?
*Ethan: About joining the GUARDIANS! Hey, don't tell me you forgot already!
*Gapard: No, I didn't forget.
(Again)
*Gapard: What now?
*Ethan: Next time we meet, I want an answer, okay?
*Gapard: Geez! Fine...

(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey, Ethan!
*Ethan: Oh it's you, Gapard. How's it going?
*Gapard: Well, I've been thinking about what you said...
*Ethan: And?
*Gapard: I think I'm going to do it. I think I'll join the GUARDIANS!
*Ethan: Really? That's great!
(Again)
*Ethan: Let me know how it goes!
*Gapard: Sure thing.

(Mikua Tesran)
*Mikua: What's up, Ethan? You're not pestering me like usual.
*Ethan: I've got something I have to do today.
*Mikua: I see...

*Gapard: Hey, Ethan! What's with the worried look on your face?
*Ethan: Oh, it's nothing.
*Gapard: I've got some free time and some things on my mind. Let's talk!
*Ethan: Sorry, but I don't have the time right now.
*Gapard: What's up with you today?

*Gapard: You don't have time to talk, right? So get going!
*Ethan: Yeah, okay.

(Before meeting the President)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua! Are you feeling any younger today?
*Mikua: ... Excuse me, but I forgot to laugh.
*Ethan: Sorry, sorry! I'm just teasing, you know. So what's with your premature worries about aging?
*Mikua: Nothing. It's just my mom. She can be pretty pushy sometimes about wanting grandkids.
(Again)
*Mikua: Sorry I've been so sensitive. I'm just going through a rough patch.
*Ethan: That's okay. I'm sorry your mom is pestering you!
(After meeting the President)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua. You heard about that SEED attack a while ago, didn't you?
*Mikua: Are we going to be all right?
*Ethan: Huh?
*Mikua: I'm scared...
*Ethan: That's not like you at all! Just trust us GUARDIANS!
(Again)
*Ethan: So remember that SEED attack? I purified them myself!
*Mikua: That's your job, isn't it? I should home you did!
*Ethan: You sure are quick to turn back to your normal self!


(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey, Ethan! Were you out purifying? You must be pretty freaked out when you're doing that kind of stuff.
*Ethan: Nah, I try to keep it together.
*Gepard: Just what I'd expect from a Guardian. That's so cool! I don't know if I'd be able to handle such an intense job...
*Ethan: No way! Like anything else, you get used to it.
(Again)
*Ethan: Sorry about before.
*Gapard: Don't worry about it. You've got a lot to deal with in the GUARDIANS, don't you?

(Mikua Tesran)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua!
*Mikua: I don't feel like talking today. Leave me alone.
*Ethan: What's wrong? When you put it like that, I only want to talk more!
*Mikua: I've got a lot going on and you're never any help, so I don't want to talk about it!
*Ethan: But I'm different now. I'm a Guardian. I'm more dependable now!
(Again)
*Ethan: So what's bothering you?
*Mikua: Would you leave me alone already?


(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey Ethan! You got a minute?
*Ethan: What's up?
*Gapard: My mom doesn't want me joining the GUARDIANS.
*Ethan: Well she probably just doesn't want you to be in danger. That's kind of the thing with parents... from what I hear...
*Gapard: Hey, why are you taking my mom's side!?
(Again)
*Ethan: Well, it's really your own decision to make. I mean, you're not a kid any more.
*Gapard: That's true...


==Chapter 10==
(Mikua Tesran)
*Mikua: *sigh*
*Ethan: What's wrong Mikua? You look like it's the end of the world.
*Mikua: Leave me alone. And yes, it probably IS the end of the world, as you put it.
*Ethan: As long as the GUARDIANS are here, the world isn't going to end any time soon!
(Again)
*Ethan: So what? We're not friends any more?
*Mikua: I said leave me alone!


(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey, Ethan! Guess what? I submitted my application for training school!
*Ethan: Oh yeah? Right on!
*Gapard: My mom's still not happy about it, but she seemed a lot more understanding when I told her I want to do something more with my life, something important.
*Ethan: Yeah but you've still got to make it through training school...
*Gapard: Hey, what are you trying to say? I'll make it!
(Again)
*Ethan: You finally worked up the nerve, so don't blow it on the tests!
*Gapard: Don't worry, I'm no dummy!


==Chapter 11==
(Mikua Tesran)
*Ethan: Hey, Mikua... Are you in love or something?
*Mikua: Maybe...
*Ethan: I was only joking!
*Mikua: So Ethan... You say you're a dependable Guardian, who will listen to whatever I have to say, right?
*Ethan: Well, I didn't exactly say all that...
*Mikua: You know that beast you're always hanging around with at the plaza?
*Ethan: Yeah...
*Mikua: I want you to introduce us!
*Ethan: You know, that's not really the kind of thing you request from a Guardian...
(Again)
*Mikua: So, how did it go?
*Ethan: Sorry, Give me more time!
*Mikua: I guess I can't rely on the GUARDIANS after all, can I?


(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey, Ethan... I haven't heard back from the GUARDIANS. Do you think that means I didn't get it?
*Ethan: No I don't think so. The GUARDIANS have been really busy lately. Headquarters is probably just bogged down. Maybe reviewing applications isn't their highest priority at the moment.
(Again)
*Gapard: Nah, I'm too busy to get set up right now.
*Ethan: Too busy? Huh...
(After speaking to Mikua)
*Ethan: Hey, Gapard... I've got something to ask you... Are you... involved... with anybody right now? I mean, romantically?
*Gapard: Hey, I dunno, Ethan. I mean, you're a nice guy... but I don't really swing that way!
*Ethan: No no no! There's just someone I wanted to introduce you to...

(Mikua Tesran)
*Mikua: Hey, Ethan! How'd it go? With the beast?
*Ethan: Oh, that...
*Mikua: I think I know what's going on, Ethan... You're secretly into me, and are purposely avoiding broaching the subject with him. That's it, isn't it? Well you can just forget it, Ethan. You're far too immature for me!
*Ethan: This isn't some stupid romantic comedy, Mikua...
*Mikua: I knew I couldn't rely on you, Ethan!
*Ethan: I don't have time for this right now...
(Again)
*Mikua: So, how did it go?
*Ethan: Sorry, I need more time!
*Mikua: Well then, don't talk to me until you've told him about me!
(After speaking to Gapard)
*Ethan: Hey Mikua, it's all set up. He wants to meet you!
*Mikua: Yay! Ethan, I'm so happy!
*Ethan: Am I the best or what?
*Mikua: Well, I didn't say that...


(Gapard Raz)
*Gapard: Hey, Ethan!
*Ethan: Oh hi, Gapard.
*Gapard: I'm finally a Guardian! Well... still in training school...
*Ethan: You got into training school? That's great news!
*Gapard: Yeah, wish me luck! By the way, about that girl you were talking about before... Is she pretty?
*Ethan: ...Pretty? ...Oh yeah, Mikua. You can see for yourself when I introduce you two later!

*Gapard: Hey Ethan... Tell me more about this Mikua gal!
*Ethan: Don't be so impatient! Didn't you say you were a busy guy? I'll introduce you soon enough!
